Arp 2500

module 1004t Oscillator

The 1004t was one of several VC oscillators produced for the 2500 synthesisers. Three ingoing arrows at the top of the module represent frequency control inputs with fixed sensitivity of 1V per octave. One the bottom edge of the module , inputs 2 and 3 are also frequency controls. These may be varied in sensitivity to a maximum of 1V per octave. 'Input PWM' controls the mark/space ratio of the pulse output but has no effect on the sine, triangle, square and saw waveforms. Each waveform may be extracted independently, or switched into a single output channel (bottom right) . Phase reversal switches occupy a sub panel. Coarse and fine initial frequency controls are incorporated, plus an initial pulse width potentiometer. The 'enable' switch connects the module to the ARP power supply. Right is the low/high frequency range switch.
