The AUDIO MIXER section controls the relative levels of the various sound sources in the two audio paths, the BRIGHTNESS of audio in the SHAPER Y path and the MASTER VOLUME. The BRIGHTNESS control is a 6dB/Octave Low-Pass filter without resonance for tone control style adjustment. The SHAPER Y PATH audio signals are not processed by the main filtering or VCA sections, but are governed by the SHAPER Y oscillators amplitude. The RINGMOD output is only available in the SHAPER Y PATH. The SHAPER Y NOISE slider normally control the level of white noise before modulating by the LFO amplitude, but may be used for an external signal input. The FILTER/ADSR PATH controls the reletive levels of A, B and NOISE (or external signal) before they pass through the main filters and VCA. The SHAPER Y and FILTER/ADSR PATH signals are available on a combined (ADSR/MIX OUT) output socket, or may be tapped into individually by inserting a jack into the SHAPED AUDIO out.
