The MOD X section contains both controls for the LFO modulation functions as well as for the ARPEGGIATOR. From the top of the panel you have the APRPEGGIATOR mode switch, featuring: OFF, RIPPLE, ARPEGGIO, and LEAP. In RIPPLE mode the notes are played as held on the keyboard, whilst ARPEGGIO plays them at first normal register, then one octave higher, then one below. The LEAP mode works in a similar manner, but with the the individual notes in the held chord transposed. For example: C1, C2, C, E1, E2, E, G1, G2, G etc. Arpeggiation rate is set by the LFO/S+H RATE control (at the bottom of the panel). Next down the panel is the MOD SOURCE selector. Possible modulation types include Triangle wave, Square wave, RANDOM S+H (Sample and Hold), Y S+H (Voltages from SHAPER Y sampled at the rate of the LFO/S+H RATE), RED NOISE or OSC. B
